Jean-Pierre Pincemin (Paris, 1944 – Arcueil, 2005)

Painter, engraver, sculptor and art critic, Jean-Pierre Pincemin started expressing himself through lyrical abstraction and action painting or “tachisme”, a term often used to describe the work of Hartung or Soulages. In 1971, Jean-Pierre Pincemin joined the Supports / Surfaces movement, a founding group of French contemporary painting.
