Jean-Baptiste Sécheret is a French painter, illustrator and engraver who lives and works in Paris. Jean-Baptiste Sécheret studied at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris. In 1983, he received the Paul-Louis Weiller Portrait Award. He then completed his training at Casa Velasquez in Madrid from 1984 to 1986. In 2013, he was awarded by the Academy of Fine Arts the Mario Avati prize for engraving. The landscape is a central theme in the artist’s work. He masters light and points of view with perfect technique.
